Secor Auto Group is looking for a Body Shop Administrative Assistant to join our team! This position works directly with the Body Shop Manager and closely with the Assistant Body Shop Manager, Technicians, Estimators, customers, and insurance companies.

What You'll Do:
As a Body Shop Administrative Assistant, you will help manage the repair process from the customer's initial visit through final invoicing and follow-up.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assist customers with obtaining their auto insurance claim number and required claim information.
  • Coordinate towing services through the customer's insurance when applicable.
  • Take vehicle photographs and open accurate repair orders.
  • Assist with purchasing and ordering parts.
  • Monitor repair orders from estimate through completion and final invoicing.
  • Track supplements and verify that additional repairs are properly approved by the insurance company.
  • Communicate regularly with customers regarding the status of their repairs.
  • Welcome and assist insurance adjusters while maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Monitor parts availability and repair timelines to help keep jobs moving efficiently.
  • Identify delays or issues and communicate them to the appropriate manager.
  • Reconcile Body Shop accounts receivable and properly post payments to repair orders.
  • Follow up with customers approximately 2–3 days after their vehicle has been returned to ensure they are satisfied with the repair.
  • Identify the customer's next routine maintenance needs and connect them with our Service Department when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the repair process.
  • Work closely with the Body Shop Manager, Assistant Manager, Technicians, Estimators, Parts Department, and Service Department.

Automotive, dealership, body shop, insurance, administrative, or customer-service experience is preferred
